Why choose us

Care that treats you as a whole person

Disability and mental health

Many of the people we support live with both. Our workers are chosen for patience, calm and understanding across the two — so you're never passed back and forth between providers.

You choose who supports you

Workers matched to your preferences — gender, language, culture, personality — whatever your age or diagnosis. If someone isn't the right fit, tell us and we'll rematch you, no awkwardness.

Clear, honest pricing

Everything is billed to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and agreed with you in writing before supports begin. No hidden fees, no surprises — ever.

Real people, real moments

What support looks like with us

Everyday life, made easier — a coffee out, a tidy home, a lift to training, a familiar face at the door.

A support worker and a woman in a wheelchair enjoying a walk together through a leafy park Out and about, Sydney

Side by side in the community

Support isn't something we do to you — it's something we do with you. Groups and sport, study, appointments, or just a walk and a chat: your worker is there to make it possible, at your pace.

About us

Care with dignity, choice and heart

Disability and Mental Health Care Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based, registered NDIS provider supporting people whose lives are touched by disability, mental health challenges, or both.

Who we are

Many providers focus on disability or mental health. We were founded on a simple idea: people deserve care that understands the whole person. Living with disability can affect your mental health, and mental health challenges can affect daily living — so our supports are designed to work for both, together.

We are registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (Registration ID 4‑LO5XNY0) and deliver supports across Greater Sydney, New South Wales.

How we work

Every person we support gets a say in who supports them and how. When we match support workers with you, we ask about your preferences — gender, age group, culture, religion, languages spoken, even personality. Your goals for the next 12 months shape everything we do.

Our values

  • Compassion

We care for people the way we would want our own family cared for.

  • Dignity & respect

Your privacy, choices and identity are always honoured.

  • Safety & quality

We work to the NDIS Practice Standards and welcome independent audits.

  • Choice & control

You direct your supports. We listen first, then act.

Our commitment to you

We provide supports in line with your NDIS plan and the NDIS Code of Conduct. We protect your personal information, involve you in every decision, and make it easy to give feedback — including anonymously. If something isn't right, we want to know, and we'll act.

Faces you'll get to know

No revolving door of strangers. We keep your support team small and consistent, so the people who arrive at your door already know you, your routine and what matters to you.

Meet us properly — say hello.

Our services

Supports built around your life

We are registered to deliver six NDIS support types. Mix and match them to suit your plan and your goals — at home, in the community, in shared living and at work.

Not sure which supports fit your plan?

That's what we're here for. Contact us and we'll talk it through in plain language — or make a referral and we'll take it from there. We work with self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed plans.

NDIS information

The NDIS, in plain language

New to the National Disability Insurance Scheme, or supporting someone who is? Here's what you need to know about working with us.

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the Australian Government's way of funding supports and services for people with permanent and significant disability. It is administered by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

If you have an NDIS plan, it includes funding for supports that help you pursue your goals. You choose the providers who deliver those supports — providers like us.

To check whether you or someone you care for may be eligible, visit ndis.gov.au or call the NDIS on 1800 800 110.

Our registration

Disability and Mental Health Care Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS provider. Registered providers are approved by, and accountable to, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and must meet the NDIS Practice Standards.

  • Registration ID: 4‑LO5XNY0
  • ABN: 19 658 578 575
  • Service area: Greater Sydney, NSW

How your funding can be managed

We welcome participants however their plan is managed:

Self-managed

You (or your nominee) manage your NDIS funds and pay providers directly. Maximum flexibility — and we make invoicing simple.

Plan-managed

A plan manager pays providers on your behalf. Just share your plan manager's details and we'll handle the rest.

NDIA-managed (agency-managed)

The NDIA pays us directly. Because we're a registered provider, NDIA-managed participants can use our services.

What we'll ask when you join us

To set up your services and service agreement, we'll ask for:

  • Your NDIS number, plan start and end dates
  • How your plan is managed (and plan manager details, if you have one)
  • Your goals — what you want your supports to achieve
  • Your preferences for support workers, communication and language
  • Any health, safety or communication needs we should plan for

Everything you tell us is protected by our privacy practices and only used to plan and deliver your supports.

Pricing

Our services are delivered and billed in line with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. Before any supports begin, we agree everything with you in writing in a service agreement — no surprises.

Accessibility statement

This website is for everyone

Accessibility isn't an add-on for us — it's the point. We designed this website to work for people of all abilities, and we're committed to keeping it that way.

Our standard

This website is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), the standard recommended for Australian organisations.

What we've built in

  • Accessibility toolbar on every page — adjust text size up to 150%, switch to high contrast, use an easier-to-read font, or reduce motion.
  • Read-aloud — have any page read to you, no screen reader needed.
  • Full keyboard access — every menu, form and button works without a mouse, with clear focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
  • Screen reader friendly — proper headings, landmarks, labels and image descriptions throughout.
  • Strong colour contrast — all text meets or exceeds WCAG AA, most of it AAA.
  • Plain language everywhere, plus a dedicated Easy Read version with pictures.
  • Calm by design — no flashing content, no autoplaying sound, gentle motion that switches off automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Large touch targets — buttons and links sized for easy tapping.

Work in progress

We're honest about what's still coming:

  • Auslan videos — placeholders are ready on this site, and videos are in production.
  • Downloadable forms are currently Word documents. If you need a form in large print, Easy Read or another format, contact us and we'll provide it.

Tell us how we're doing

If any part of this website is hard for you to use, we genuinely want to know — it helps us fix it for you and for everyone after you. Call 0488 114 368 or email thapasupreeya3@gmail.com.
